CONS: Although repair parts are available, miscellaneous parts not sold in the repair kit are not. The rebuild is not as simple as the diaphragm style pumps.

The Medo Piston Linear Septic Air Pumps are a top choice amongst our customers. These pumps are very quiet, energy efficient, and have a good overall life expectancy. The expected life of the pump is 10 to 12 years, but the pistons need to be replaced every 4 to 6 years. Repair kits are readily available and reasonably priced, although the rebuild is a little more challenging than a diaphragm pump. The Medo pumps are very compatabile when switching from a diaphragm style pump, as they have all of the same attachments. The Medo Piston series is a good pump with a great price tag and continues to be one of the favorites of Septic Solutions' customers.
