1 Select An Aeration Pump
The choice of aeration pump will be determined by the size of the pond that you wish to aerate. The Hiblow linear air pumps are great for small shallow ponds up to 10' deep, while the Gast Rotary Vane compressors are used for pond up to 20' deep, and the Thomas Piston compressor can aerate ponds up to 40' deep.

The Hiblow HP80 can be used to aerate ponds up to 1/2 acre in size and up to 6 feet deep. The Hiblow linear air pump is by far the best option for small sized / shallow depth ponds. We recommend using 3/8'' inside diameter or larger tubing with the Hiblow HP-80.

Our PondPlus+ self-weighted single and dual membrane diffusers can be manifolded in any combination and will work with any of our aeration pumps. Please note the cfm range listed for each diffuser. If the air pump you choose exceeds the cfm listed, you will need to use multiple diffusers.
