Gast 0523 Rotary Vane Septic Air Pump
The Gast 0523 Rotary Vane septic air pump fits many 500 GPD or larger aerobic septic systems. The new and improved model is quieter and more energy efficient than previous older models. This unit does not include the motor cooling fan that is included with the Gast AT05.
The Gast 0523 is a compatible replacement for the Gast 0323, Gast 0523, Gast RV03, Gast RV05, Thomas QR-0030, and Thomas QR-0050.

Gast 0523 Rotary Vane Applications
The Gast 0523 Rotary Vane septic air compressor is used on 500-750 GPD rated NSF Class 1 Standard 40 aerobic treatment systems (ATUs). The Gast 0523 compressors are also commonly used in pond aeration applications. With their ability to run continuously at 10.0 psi, they can pump to depths of 15-18 feet. This is much deeper when compared to the linear diaphragm pumps which can only push air to depths of 6 to 8 feet.
