BACTERIA ADDITIVES
Aerobic bacteria and anaerobic bacteria are typically used on a month to month basis. They are very simple to use and can help to break down solids such as greases, fats, and oils, and help to get rid of any septic odor you may be having. Bacteria additives can lengthen the period of time needed between when your tank needs to be pumped by reducing the amount of sludge and scum build up in your septic tank.
SEPTIC CHLORINE TABLETS
Chlorine disinfecting tablets are used to disinfect the wastewater draining out of the septic system. Besides providing reliable disinfection, they also work to inhibit any bacteria regrowth. Average usage is usually 3-6 tablets per month in a chlorine tablet feeder.
ROOT KILLER AND LINE CLEANER
Root killer and main line cleaners are also sometimes needed to help maintain costly backups. The foaming root killer is a patented product which foams on contact with water to fill the entire pipe line with a root killing agent. The foaming root killer is highly recommended for severe recurring root problems. Main Line Cleaner is another product available to attack accumulated material and quickly restore proper flow in the sewage lines.
SLUDGE SAMPLER
The TruCore Sludge Sampler is another product for those contractors or DIY homeowners who want to be able to measure the layer of sludge buildup in the septic or aerobic system. Samples can be taken very quickly and accurately with this device without creating the excessive turbulence often associated with standard samplers.
