1. THE LOCATION OF THE AERATION EQUIPMENT

ULTRA-AIR® MODEL 735 AND COMPARABLE AERATORS

The Ultra-Air Model 735 or other aerators with a spinning shaft locate the motor inside the system exposing the mechanical components to a high moisture environment filled with toxic gasses. This in general leads to a shorter life in the aerator motor. If the system backs up with this style of motor located inside the tank, the motor may become submerged and ruined, meaning a replacement motor would need to be purchased.

SEPAERATOR® SAVER PACKAGE

The SepAerator® Saver Package locates the motor outside of the tank, making the air pump last longer and much easier to service or maintain. This also leaves no mechanical parts inside the tank to be serviced or exposed to moisture and toxic gases that develop inside an aerobic tank. This leads to a longer life in the air pump. The air pump will also be safe from any system back ups.

2. THE DIFFUSER ASSEMBLY

ULTRA-AIR® MODEL 735 AND COMPARABLE AERATORS

With the Ultra-Air Model 735™ and other aerators that have a spinning shaft, the shaft must be maintained in order for the motor to function properly. Debris tends to build up or wrap around the shaft and can cause premature motor failure. To avoid this the shaft should be cleaned every 6 months at minimum.

The SepAerator® Saver Package eliminates all moving and mechanical components from the tank. The Wonderfuser™ Diffuser Assembly is completeley maintenance free.

3. OPERATION COSTS (ELECTRICITY USAGE)

ULTRA-AIR® MODEL 735 AND COMPARABLE AERATORS

The Ultra-Air Model 735™ and comparable units will use around 4 or 5 amps on average. Depending on your area, this can amount to $20.00 or $25.00 per month in electricity costs.

4. MAINTENANCE

ULTRA-AIR® MODEL 735 AND COMPARABLE AERATORS

The Ultra-Air Model 535™ has to be serviced and maintained on a regular basis. The shaft must be cleaned of debris AT LEAST every 6 months. You must open the tank and pull the motor to do this.

SEPAERATOR® SAVER PACKAGE

The SepAerator® Saver Package air pump has an air filter on the top of the unit that must be cleaned every 6 months. Because the air pump is located externally, this is very simple and can take less than 10 minutes complete. No maintenance is required on the diffuser assembly located inside the tank.

5. THE AERATION EFFECT

The Ultra-Air Model 735™ and comparable shaft aerators inject very little oxygen into the system. Most of the oxygenation happens when the water stirs due to the spinning shaft causing it surface and grab oxygen.

The SepAerator® Saver Package injects air into the tank through a diffuser with 48 tiny orifices. Not only does the package produce a high amount of oxygen in the water, it also creates the same stirring motion by introducing air 360 degrees around the diffuser assembly.
